Day 3 - Auckland to Bay of Islands
Depart Auckland at 10:25am aboard Air New Zealand flight NZ8670 for Kerikeri, arriving at 11.05am.
Upon arrival at Kerikeri Airport pick up your medium size, automatic, air-conditioned rental vehicle with unlimited mileage and daily vehicle insurance.
Drive to your accommodation. Balance of the day at leisure. You may enjoy a visit to the Waitangi Treaty House and grounds.
In 1840 at Waitangi in the Bay of Islands, the founding document of bi-cultural New Zealand was signed between the New Zealand Maori and the British Crown.
Much of the Bay of Islands hundreds of miles of coastline remain unspoilt, it is truly an aquatic paradise. The 150 islands in the aquamarine bay give the region its name.

Day 4 - Bay of Islands
Today take the opportunity of a round of golf at Kauri Cliffs. Kauri Cliffs boasts breathtaking views over the Cavalli Islands and has several challenging fairways and greens on cliff tops that plunge into the Pacific Ocean. The 6,510 metre, par 72 course has won huge accolades from golfing magazines as one of the best new courses in the world.
Day 5 - Bay of Islands
This morning depart Paihia for a cruise aboard a high-speed luxury catamaran cruising through the game fishing waters to the Cape Brett Lighthouse. Next, is Motukokako Island and the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’, the excitement grows as you make a passage through the Hole and on to the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave. On the return journey you meander through the inner islands. View sandy beaches, beautiful bays and marine wildlife as your skipper gives an informative commentary. An island stopover is included at the beautiful Urupukapuka Island where you can enjoy one of the scenic walks, or swim.
This afternoon you may enjoy a round of golf at Waitangi Golf Course again offering equally breathtaking marine views encompassing the Bay of Islands. The 5,358 metre, par 70 course is an absolute pleasure to play, with stunning scenery around every fairway.
