Dear Mike,

Our family is just returning from the most amazing trip to New Zealand.

Carol and Bob Pursell

The five weeks we spent in New Zealand were possibly the most seamless, best organized trip we have ever experienced.  The accommodations were outstanding, everyone of them.

Hi Mike,

I consider our trip to be the trip of a lifetime that has included trips all over the world. There are a few others that came close, but not quite as good. I doubt that we’ll experience many more 7.8 earthquakes during our travel, and everything that comes with that experience. I also doubt that we will find many more travel operators as competent or thorough as BONZ!

Mike and Eta,
Not sure if I circled back to you to thank you for the wonderful arrangements you made for us in New Zealand. Literally, everything was perfect. The suggested itinerary, the accommodations, & the people responsibility for each. We followed just about all of your suggestions.

Great trip and beyond the wonderful country a bunch of it is due to your effectiveness.

Steve Brough, Arrowtown House Boutique Hotel

I can honestly say that we have immensely enjoyed working with you over the last 20 years. In an industry where relationships seem to mean nothing to many, we have always valued your friendship & loyalty.

Kind Regards

Steve Brough

“Everything Karen Miller did was really, really helpful. She is OUTSTANDING!

Sum Up Your Trip: Unforgettable!!! We didn’t even know where to start but Karen listened to our desires and then put together an outstanding trip that totally met our needs but exceeded all of our expectations. She was extremely responsive and helpful.”

Drew Jones, Greensboro, NC

Everything was well organized and presented with absolute clarity. All accommodations and activities were exactly as billed. I can’t think of any way to improve the service we received. It also helps that New Zealanders are so helpful and relaxed that any time we had questions or needed direction there was no difficulty finding help.

First, you are really incredible at your job, and it showed throughout my trip experience. I appreciate your organization especially in a relaxed country such as NZ.

Second, thank you so much for working with my time constraints and requests. Overall, this was a trip that I will never forget and has changed my life for the better.

Karen was so helpful with everything! We can’t thank her enough for putting this trip together. We absolutely loved the bed and breakfast in Queenstown. It was by far the best in terms of service (afternoon wine and food, breakfast in the morning, free laundry available, walking distance to town, super friendly and helpful staff). Our second favorite was the Marlborough B&B. The owners made us feel like part of the family.

We were asked what our favorite part of the trip was – we couldn’t answer it because it was all so wonderful. Everything was different and unique.
We loved seeing Milford Sound. The kayak tour at Abel Tasman was fantastic. We loved Mount Cook and the stargazing. It was all just incredible. The Wave Watchers Cottage was AMAZING!!!!!! We are ready to go back!

In summing up – Amazing!! Probably the most incredible trip I’ve been on. The people were wonderful, the accommodations were great, the sights were beautiful. Everything went so smoothly – it was so nice to not worry about anything and just follow the itinerary.

It was a trip of a lifetime with truly unique beauty not found anywhere else. A New Zealand trip requires a specialist who knows the lay of the land the unique challenges of traveling and sight-seeing there.

The country looks a lot smaller than it really is, and travel times are longer than one can assume.

The route chosen by Cristina helped us maximize our time there. I’m usually a do it yourself traveler, but for this trip I’m sure glad I had Cristina at Best of New Zealand.

We followed your suggested tours and hikes and loved them all. When we returned from our Holliford hike, we had a note on our Glebe Apt that they had moved us… to the penthouse because they were worried about the noise from the weekend festival.

It was gorgeous and we stayed there for two more days. You were so familiar with everything we did because the distances were reasonable (only one really long drive), and even Akaroa was worth the long, windy drive (beautiful).

Thank you for all of the arrangements you did for us. We will recommend you to everyone we know!

We got back from NZ last Sunday after an absolutely fantastic trip!!! We wanted to thank you both for your assistance and for setting up a perfect itinerary for us. Fantastic B&B’s and hosts, great locations and recommendations for things to do/see, had a great couple of nights at wave watchers (really a beautiful spot you have there). Being outdoor enthusiasts you certainly nailed it for us!

We are already talking about going back next year so we will definitely be in touch to once again seek your expert assistance!

What a fabulous itinerary you made for us. It was perfect!!

Wonderful country, delightful people, delicious food, and amazing scenery like no other. I guess our only major complaint is that we didn‚t have longer to see more of the country! You really planned it well for us. It felt balanced in the way of activities, driving days, photo opportunities, even some R&R in the afternoons.

Highlights Of The Trip: Getting off the plane in Queenstown – overwhelmed with the beauty. The boat ride in Queenstown to experience the expansiveness. The drive from Queenstown to Franz Joseph -the mountains and glacier lakes that went on forever. Our lunch spot that day at a campsite on a lake. Abel Tasman: this is where I want to return and spend a week to hike the entire trail. Spent the day biking in Napier to wineries. Best meals: Elephant Hill Vineyard in Napier, Mauharuah Surf Club in Wellington, 2 cafes in Abel Tasman.
